We are incredibly thrilled to share with you that the C-LARAH has been selected to reside at the newly established UCLA Downtown Hub, housed within DTLA’s historic Trust Building, as UCLA announced this morning. This move signifies a significant leap forward to C-LARAH, opening up new avenues for innovation, collaboration, and community engagement and empowerment.
Our expansion into Downtown Los Angeles is not just a physical move but a strategic step in advancing our effort on LGBTQ+ health initiatives. It also symbolizes our dedication to extending our influence beyond Westwood and fostering positive and sustainable change for the People of the Greater Los Angeles area and Southern California.
As we embark on this transition, we want to express our gratitude to our colleagues, partners, and friends who have supported us throughout the years. Your unwavering commitment to advancing LGBTQ+ health and well-being has been instrumental in our success, and we are eager to continue working together to address the unique and intersectional health challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community.
The upcoming months will be filled with excitement as we settle into our new home, establish and sustain new community partnerships, and leverage the resources available at the UCLA Downtown Hub. We anticipate a seamless integration that will enhance our research and programming capabilities, allowing us to contribute even more to the health and well-being of all LGBTQ+ Bruins, Angelenos, and Allies.
